We are thrilled to announce that our school has successfully secured funding for a range of exciting improvements.

Through collaborations with local chartered surveyors Lea Hough, we have secured more CIF funding than any other trust in Lancashire this year.

As part of our funding, we are embarking on an ambitious renovation project aimed at enhancing the learning facilities and creating a nurturing environment for our pupils. These renovations will not only transform the physical spaces within our school but also provide our pupils with the best possible resources to support their education and personal growth.

The capital projects that will be undertaken by the trust amounts to in total £999,000 including £778,500 worth CIF funding for 5 projects across the trust. These projects include:

  • Replacing the boiler block at Rhyddings High School, Oswaldtwistle.
  • Replacing the entire central heating system at The Hollins, Accrington.
  • Erecting a protective security fence around the perimeter of the school field and replacing the boiler plant at Huncoat Primary School.
  • Replacing the roof of West End Primary School to ensure that it is weatherproofed for years to come.

As a Trust, our team and our trustees are already working on preparation for our next round of CIF bids, and our investments into our pupils’ and our schools’ futures will continue to be a priority for us.
