Our Approach to Procurement
LET Education Trust is committed to securing high-quality goods, services, and works that deliver exceptional value for money across all our academies. As a publicly funded Multi-Academy Trust, we operate with transparency, fairness, and integrity in accordance with the Academy Trust Handbook, UK Public Procurement Regulations, and the Procurement Act.
We aim to maximise the impact of our public funding to directly support our pupils, staff, and wider educational community.

When sourcing suppliers and awarding contracts, LET Education Trust adheres to key principles:
- Value for Money: Balancing cost, quality, reliability, and long-term effectiveness.
- Fairness & Transparency: Ensuring open competition and providing equal opportunities for established businesses, local suppliers, and SMEs.
- Ethical & Sustainable Practice: Prioritising suppliers who demonstrate strong environmental responsibility, social value, and safe working standards.
- Compliance: Operating strictly within statutory guidelines, relevant buying frameworks and internal financial controls.
